Hua Dao (花道, The Way of Flowers) is the traditional Chinese art of composing flowers, branches and other plant elements with attention to their form, movement and relationship with space.
Guided by a Hua Dao master, the workshop offers a contemplative approach to this practice, in which balance, asymmetry and empty space are essential elements of the composition.
Through observation and gesture, each participant creates their own floral arrangement and explores the philosophy and symbolic language of this art.
A contemplative experience connected to nature, Chinese painting, poetry and calligraphy.
